COVID-19 Testing

All families are required to complete a testing acknowledgement form and are encouraged to sign up for our testing program. To assist parents/guardians with submitting the form, a job aid is available with instructions. Login to the PowerSchool Parent Portal at and select Forms from the left-hand navigation, then select the form named School COVID-19 Testing Option.

The Opt-In Form allows parents to opt-in their students to weekly testing. If they are fully vaccinated, they do not need to participate in routine testing, but they can still consent on Primary.Health or UCSD portals to get tested if they wish or in case they are symptomatic. 

Responsive Lab Partners (Elementary/Middle/Alternative Schools)

Parents or staff must register through the Primary.Health portal

Registration only needs to be completed one time.

After being swabbed, the student or staff can leave as soon as the test starts working (within 1 minute).

Parents/staff will receive results of the test directly from Primary.Health via email or text within 48 hours. If a student or staff test positive, they will be collected from class, a confirmatory PCR will be conducted (coming soon, in the meantime please go to UCSD for confirmatory PCR), and they will be sent home. 

UCSD (Comprehensive High Schools)

Appointments are required, staff or parents can sign up here. Consent and ROI are required for students, and only ROI is required for staff.

Consents can be physically handed to the UCSD team, and the UCSD team will scan the consent into the system.
