May 26, 2025
Hello Marshall Families,
I hope you are enjoying the long Memorial Day Weekend. Please take a moment this weekend to remember those who have served our country as we prepare for the last week of school. There is no school on Monday. School resumes on Tuesday with a 6-1 schedule. We will have a 6-1 schedule on Wednesday, and a 1-6 minimum day schedule on Thursday, which is the last day of school. Dismissal is at 1:30 p.m. for 6th and 7th grades.
The promotion ceremony for 8th grade takes place on the PE fields at 8:30 a.m. We are asking that the parents of 6th and 7th grade students not to use the drop-off area above the PE fields on Thursday morning. We would like to reserve that area for 8th grade families attending promotion. Please use the area by the front gate or on Novak Way to drop off students in the morning on Thursday.
Any textbooks that have not yet been returned need to be taken to the library as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone who returned their books last week.
Thank you all for your support this year. I would like to wish the families of our 8th graders all the best in high school, whether it is at SRHS or somewhere else. You will always be part of the Marshall family. For the rest of you who will be returning next year, information new student orientation and the start of the 2025-2026 school year will be sent out over the summer and available on the Marshall website.
I hope you all have a safe and relaxing summer.
Sincerely,
Stephen Olds, Principal
